Restaurant Review: Vin Café

Located in the La Corte area of Il Borro in Tuscany, Vin Café is the perfect little spot for a light lunch or dinner. And most definitely the place to enjoy a bottle of wine at sunset.

The La Corte area is where the estate’s stables were once located. There is a big open area in between the buildings with green grass and statues that speak to the mind about wellness.

I enjoyed the Chianina Beef carpaccio and the Burrata cheese both times I visited the café. The Chianina beef is the best beef I have ever tasted. And the burrata is perfectly solid and creamy at the same time. I’ve been to other restaurants in Dubai and Italy and ordered the burrata, and it was usually too sweet, tasting like melted ice cream. Chef Andrea Campani knows Tuscan food and does it well, no doubt.

While you’re in the area enjoying lunch be sure to check out the spa facilities. The deep cleansing facials and massages are worth a trip from anywhere.
